The Primebook 4G laptop developed by IIT Delhi alumni Aman Verma and Chitranshu Mahant, aims to bridge the gap between students and e-learning by offering an affordable laptop that they claim can reduce education costs by upto 85%.

Today, while students have a plethora of tech enabled platforms to learn from, over 23 crore children in India don’t have access to laptops; which are by far the most apt tools for reaping maximum benefits of e-learning. To bridge this digital divide, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Flipkart to exclusively launch Primebook 4G. This device is a result of our team’s tireless efforts to create a laptop that is not only powerful but also accessible for the masses,” said Aman Verma, Co-founder and CMO, Primebook.
The Primebook 4G is originally priced at Rs 16,990 but it will be available at a discounted price of Rs 14,990 on Flipkart. The laptop will also be available with No Cost EMI offers for upto 24 months with launch offers worth Rs 12,000.
Primebook 4G specifications
The Primebook 4G features an 11.6-inch HD (720p) IPS display and has a plastic build with a soft-to-touch texture on the lid. The Primebook 4G is powered by the MediaTek MT8788 chipset which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is an option to expand the storage further by adding a microSD card of upto 128GB.
The Primebook 4G also has a SIM card slot which can be used to make calls and access the internet on the go. The Primebook runs on Android 11-based Prime OS which is built on AOSP (Android Open Source Project).
This laptop also has WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 support along with a 2MP webcam upfront. It has downward-firing speakers, dual microphones, two USB ports, a Mini HDMI port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
